Calender for plastic materials suitable for sheet production

This series of calender for plastic sheet production, is realised when there's a need for high quality production. The three calender rollers, which can have chromed or embossed surface on custumer specific request, are built with a particular forced water recycle circuit for cooling. A fluid termoregulator group adjusts and controls the rollers temperature, that can change depending on type of plastic and wished tickness.
It's possible to obtain a maximum width of 2500 mm with thickness adjustable micrometrical control. An emergency system, that in case of emergency allows 100 mm rollers opening, assures the safety of the staff in charge to the machine.
The possibility to open rollers makes easier and accelerates the sheet insertion process into the calender and both rollers cleaning and maintenance. The foil drawing is obtained by two rubberized rollers, also equipped with a 100 mm emergency opening system and, in the cooling phase before cut, sheet slides on the pvc neuter rollers.
As optional there is the possibilty to install a lifting group on the calender, for the protection film reel which is applied to the sheet, and a knives group like the one descrived on the sheet calender optional page.
