This plant was born from customers that needed to have a reduced quantity of cartons in their warehouses, despect a great variety of package dimensions for different heating appliance models.
This packing system self-sizes the open carboard sheet, which is selected and prepared on the base of products arriving from the painting line.
The packing consists on single units cardboard envelopment, which was previously selected among six fixed dimensions (from Pos. 10 to Pos. 15), creased in width and height and cut in length.
The creasing is completed (Pos. 22) with the aid of an operator on the base of single units dimension.
The last operation, the upper edges closure, is manually made with staples, adhesive tape, or hot glue.
In this last case the operation can also be automated consequently to the manual phase.
The plant layout can vary on the base of available space.
